Melts in your mouth . . . not in your hand

I remember way back when I was in school . . . yes, I can remember stuff that happened so long ago . . . it was rumored that green M&M’s were supposed to make you horny.   We were stupid kids, what did we know?

There must be some truth in it . . . Green is quite the little hotty.

Roses are red, M&M’s are green,
hey baby let's go to your room if you know what I mean.

Anyhoo . . . the Valentine’s day is coming around so all the goodies are out in the store.  If you look around you can find bags of green M&Ms.  The disclaimer on the bag states: "Consumption of The Green Ones® may result in elevated romance levels. If you experience this effect, contact your significant other immediately."

Maybe we weren't so dumb.  Amazing!

______________

If you can’t find the green-only bag of M&Ms, you can purchase a regular bag and pick the green ones out.  A bag of M&Ms contains 20% green.  Seriously, the color mix in a standard bag is:

24% Blue
20% Green
16% Orange
14% Yellow
13% Red
13% Brown

When they were first introduced, the candies only came in red, yellow, brown, green and violet.    They pulled red M&Ms in the 1970’s because of concerns that red food coloring was connected to cancer even though Mars was not using that particular dye.  Red M&Ms were put back into the bag in 1987 when consumers demanded his return.  I’m not sure why, he’s such a snarky little guy.

That's me if I was a short round purple M&M.

Not as sexy as Green but still pretty cute.
